We hand selected this exquisite cask from The Glenburgie distillery in Speyside for our inaugural release and to show the world the quality of the whiskies in our portfolio.
A classic well-aged ex-bourbon cask matured Speyside single malt. Hailing from the Victorian version of Glenburgie, this spirit was distilled in the late-1980s prior to a dramatic rebuild in the early-2000s. This bottle can therefore never be repeated and exhibits a flavour profile that only several decades in a quality cask can give.
This is a luxurious, gentle and elegant whisky that is laced with tropical fruit, vanilla and delicate wood spice.
A perfect compliment to Edition One, this Jura distillery 25 year old cask has only strengthened our claim and our commitment to the selection process that goes into The Collection.
A rare whisky from the Hebridean island distillery of Jura; this single malt offers a snapshot in time of whisky making on Jura in the late-1990s, a time when peat levels in the malted barley were higher than in modern day production.
This is ‘old school’ Jura at its best with maturation in a superb ex-bourbon cask for a quarter of a century.
Packed with vanilla, honeycomb and lemon zest, all underlined with a delightful ashy and earthy smoke.
